Minerva Palladio Nostalgia

The Minerva Palladio
Nostalgia is a European-only Palladio model, which was produced in limited
numbers. Running on Valjoux 7750 movement, this automatic watch is
vintage-looking. I bought the watch from a German watch dealer and is extremely
satisfied with the purchase.

Measuring 36 mm in case
diameter, the watch looks perfect on my small wrist. As usual in all Minerva
watches, the craftmanship is superb and fine.
I removed the original Minerva leather strap, and put on an Oris BC3 SS
bracelet. It matches the case
perfectly.

The case is highly polished and the Minerva arrow symbol on the crown is finely engraved.

The only fault I can find with the watch is that it should have come with a see-through caseback (just like that in Athena II and Pythagore).

One of my major concern before I bought this watch is its legibility. The legibility is great and I do not have any problem reading the time under the sun (I used to have that problem with my Zenith Moonphase Chronomaster Chronometer). The hands are not luminous at night.

The blue hour- and minute- hands bounced my heart when I saw it the very first time.

I would highly
recommend this watch to every one who likes a nostalgia-look on a wristwatch.
Hope you all will like all the scans (taken with a Nikon Coolpix 950 digital
camera). Cheers: Wayne Lee, Penang Malaysia (April 22, 2000).
